GE dishwasher acted like the door was open when in fact it was not so it would go no further or start. I checked the door switch and found it to be functional. I checked the voltage coming to the switch and found there to be 14 volts coming to both sides indicating the power supply to the switch was good. That left only the main control board to be defective. I ordered a new one from APP and two days later I had the part in hand and it took about an hour start to finish to get my dishwasher back to perfect running condition.
