With the help of your online chat, it was determined to be the door latch assembly. The service manual stated to hit any three buttons; except the power button and hold for 5 sec each. The unit did not go into the service mode.
After discussing with your people, it was determined to hit three buttons...three times. After doing this, it went into service mode and we were able to get the code out of the washer. Which told us to replace the door latch switch.
