Use the videos on this website here and you can repair most brands. Many are duplicate in design.
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Move it away from a confined area to get more room.
3. Remove lint filter and the two screws that hold the exhaust filter port to the top of the cabinet.
4. Use a putty knife or actually a butter knife and release the top of the cabinet from the main drum housing. You will slide the knife between the top and the main cabinet at the plastic catches. Look for them and you see them. If you have a head band light use it.
5. Lift the front cabinet housing up and away from the main cabinet. Check the felt seals for damage. If worn replace.
6. I use my foot to hold up the dryer drum and release the drum belt from the motor shaft. The drum pulley moves towards the motor shaft to release the belt. Use your phone and take pics, pics and more pics,
7. Using the drum belt, I lift the drum up and out of the front of the cabinet. Follow the areas that are cut out of the cabinet to ease out the entire drum. Place the drum away from the area so you have room to work.
8. Clean everything. Every pieces of lint and dirt out. Use a mini vac if you have one.
9. Wipe down everything with a wet damp cloth to ensure everything is dust and lint free.
10. Now if you are going to remove the rollers shafts you have to remove the drum exhaust port at the rear of the cabinet.
11. Remove the rear cabinet cover. Big metal cover. With small metal screws holding it on.
12. Remove the drum exhaust metal discharge port. Usually held on by four or five screws.
You will have to remove the bottom out and then work the top part out.
Check the seals on the discharge port. Make sure this metal port is clean. Pull all the lint out and if possible use a mini vac in reverse to blow out any debris.
13. Unbolt the roller shafts, there are two. These shafts are different sizes. Replace each one at a time. The rollers are the same size. From inside the cabinet you can now remove the rollers and shafts Each roller is attached to each shaft with two triangular clips. Work them out with a small screw driver or if you are able use your hands. If using new rollers and shafts you will purchase the kits and everything you need will be provided. If the machine is ten years or older replace both shafts and rollers. Kit comes with new clips for the shafts.
14, If you are cleaning parts with compressed air be careful. You will deposit lint and dirt all over the place. If possible take the parts outside and blow them clean.
15. While you there check the drum belt. If its old (ten ) years replace it. Clean the motor out (don't use compressed air on the motor) - use vacuum. Also check the tension pulley. If its old replace it. That way you won't it hear it squeaking when you put the machine back together.
16. Go slow, clean everything and good luck.
