Very easy, First I was concerned I was going to break off the two screws that held the element in place. Because of the extreme heat over the years the screws were rusty. A half hour before trying to loosen the screws i sprayed a small amount of penetrating oil on the two screws and on the back of the mounting plate. I used a impact screw gun and they came right off... "phew". I pulled out the element carefully as the wires pulled out of the back of the oven. I used a small flat screwdriver and preyed off the wire connections.
Then before i installed the new baking element i cleaned the oven where the penetrating oil was.
Then I plugged in the wires, carefully slid in the new element as the wires slid back in to the the rear of the oven, tightened the screws by hand. TA-DA!
