The black plastic stem had been striped for 5 years. Used pliers to turn the stem. Stem finally broke off making the dryer useless. Ordered a new timer and OEM knob. Took about 15 mins to change. Should have done it years ago! I was surprised at the cost tho, but everyone is happy now!
