The repair went well. Never made this type of repair before. Took me around 90 minutes to complete. The worst part was winging it on how to disassemble the bottom drawers. On my Kenmore Elite, it has three freezer compartment sliding trays. The other difficult part for me was removing the clipped in part on the back of the freezer panel. Without knowing what to do it was a little frustrating. after getting to the evaporator unit, removing built-up ice and replacing the unit was fairly easy. The re-assembly went much faster than the disassembly. Overall it was well worth my effort.
