Michael G Bennet , NE December 20, 2018 Bottom oven burner stopped working in GE electric stove. The stove is now about 20 years old. Decided to see if the part was available, and it was. It was the electronic control board. It was simple to install. Just take your time. Watch a Youtube video. They are great. Part came right away. As a bonus, the top oven burner had stopped working properly (stayed on all the time) just after a few years after we'd bought the stove, but it was seldom used, so I'd just removed the wire and taped it off when that had happened. Now, with the new control unit part, I undid the tape and hooked it back up, and both of the oven burners work. The top burners on the stove work fine. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
