Vicky F Vallejo , CA August 11, 2016 I broke a knob on my washing machine which meant not only did i have to replace the knob but also the switch this was for the water level I bought the parts from Appliance PartsPros.com and got a much better deal than buying them from GE directly. I big difference too. I had my son do the repairs. He had to remove scews from the back of the washer to get inside where the switch went. I would say it took him less than an hour to fix it. Unfortunately I wasn't paying enough attention. Get your parts here!! I wish there were better instructions for fixing things. I might have been able to do this job myself. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
