To Whom It May Concern:
The milk tray broke and fell out of the door of my Samsung RS267LASH model refrigerator at 2:00 p.m. on December 23. With company arriving for Christmas, I scrambled to find a replacement.
First, I checked the part number on the bottom of the tray.
Next, after navigating my browser to my usual parts source URL – a certain large, global auction site – I learned that the original part had been discontinued, but that I could have a “retired” replacement tray for $49.99 shipped. Well, we needed the plastic tray alright, and quickly. But the price seemed unreasonable.
So, knowing I didn’t have much time, I performed an Internet search for the Samsung RS267LASH model number and visited www.appliancepartspros.com/ . There I learned that the part had indeed been discontinued, but that a replacement part was available for $19.19, and it would ship out the same day for $6.95.
Not only was Appliance Parts Pros’ price lower than I could find on that large, 4-letter auction website, I was guaranteed same-day shipping.
$26.14 shipped the same day with Fed Ex tracking, or $49.99 shipped who knows when?
Having specified standard shipping, I checked out of http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ at 2:48 p.m.
I received a confirmation email from Appliance Parts Pros within two minutes.
Next, I received a shipping conformation email indicating that the part was shipped same day as promised, at 5:01 p.m., complete with a Fed Ex tracking number.
The next morning, December 24, the Fed Ex truck arrived and delivered my replacement tray at 9:00 a.m.
I opened the box and placed the shiny, brand new, perfect-fitting tray into my refrigerator door in seconds.
I was so excited I just had to contact you and thank you for your parts, your prices, your shipping, your service, and your sense of urgency.
BTW, I have very high standards and am not easily impressed; however, Appliance Parts Pros exceeded all my highest expectations.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
