William N Las Cruces , NM December 19, 2015 Appliance: Model LOOKED INSIDE THE REFRIGERATOR Broken ice maker in french door refrigerator 8 year old LG French Door .Searched on line for a solution to broken ice maker. Found the whole Bucket need replacing, not just a little part. After reading about other people with the same issue, I ordered the bucket assembly making sure it is was the correct replacement part. It arrived quickly. Pulled out the broken bucket, dumped the ice in the new one, popped the bucket in place and ICE, lots of nice crushed ICE. Seems better than the original one for crushed ice. Nice that is was a simple do-it-yourself.
