Pulled plug out and shut off has line. Removed front and top cabinet of drier. Cleaned in and around the dryer. Performed a continuity test on coils, overload, and igniter element. No continuity in the element; removed and ordered the part.
Received parts and installed igniter and replaced lint filter. Turned gas valve to open and plugged in power. Turned on and gas-fired up as expected. Washed and dried one load of clothes.
