First, I ordered the wrong part (not paying attention to the model number on my machine...) I installed the part, following the very excellent video instructions from the website. I got the machine all put back together, but the electrical connection did not match!
So, just a few days from leaving on vacation, I chatted online with the representative, Robyn C., from AppliancePartsPros.com. She was so helpful, double checking that the model number of my machine matched the new part, and offering to FedX it to me that day. Unfortunately, it still would not have given me enough time to repair the machine and do all the laundry needed. (So, off to Walmart for new underwear, etc., to pack for our trip.)
Now it's a month later. (Yep, I've actually been sick for a whole month.) I finally got together the energy to attempt taking out the wrong part and installing the new part. Waiting on my desktop was the link to the wonderful video with step-by-step instructions. With a little moral support and assistance from my daughter, we got the machine successfully repaired and scooted back into its slot in the laundry.
I have a whole load of underwear washing right now (we ended up buying a lot of underwear in the past month!).
A huge THANK YOU to Robyn C., who chatted with me online and got the right part to me, and the great instructional videos that are provided on the site, which make everything so clear and easy. This is not the first time I have used the services and parts from this company, and it certainly won't be the last. By the way, I'm a retired female -- if I can do it, anyone can.
