The existing shelf stud was so broken up that I needed to use a Vise-Grip wrench to grab a hold of what was left of it. Fortunately, the AppliancePartsProse.com website had a very informative video explaining how to repace a shelf stud. The key to it being to always turn the stud clockwise while either taking the old one out, or replacing the new one. This little tid-bit of information proved very handy to know, making an easy job that much easier, rather than a potential headache had I tried turning either stud counter clockwise. So, it's well worth watching any related videos that the website may have with regard to your repair. By the way, the part I needed was delivered very fast - within only two or three days, or so.
