Took me longer to find the tools than to actually fix it. Loosened the two small nuts...pulled the old element forward a bit, disconnected the wires, replaced it by reversing the process and viola, working oven. Of course I knew how to do it already because I read it on here! Even better I saved 70 bucks by not buying the parts for my Kenmore oven at Sears Parts Direct (also replaced all four surface elements.
