Pulled the stove from cabinet location to disconnect electric power, removed stove top by removing two screws just inside top of oven opening, pulled stove top forward enough to unplug electrical connection to top, set stove top on nearby kitchen table with elements up, removed burned out element after unplugging electrical connections and screws (2) holding element to stove top, modified 2 electrical connection with supplied connectors, removed clips from old element and placed them on new element (2) screws in the same position, installed the new element in the same position and orientation as the old one, plugged the 4 electrical connections onto the element regulator, returned the stove top in it's normal position leaving room to replug the electrical connection, pushed the stove top in original position, and reinstalled the two retaining screws just inside the top of oven opening. The stove was reconnected to it's electrical connection and pushed back into the cabinet opening.
