Removed the burner assembly from the cooktop and attempted to remove the Philips screw holding the spark lighter to the burner assy. The screw would not budge, soaked the screw in WD40 for an hour and again was unable to remove the screw. eventually the screw driver bit spun around in the top of the screw making any attempt to use a screwdriver impossible. Finally I broke away the ceramic insulator leaving the mounting plate attached to the burner. I then used flat screwdriver tp lever the mounting plate up then bent it back and forth until it broke, I was then able to remove the plate and expose a small area of the screw thread which I soaked again in WD40. I used a small hammer to tap on the top of the screw to break it loose. I was then able to remove the screw using a pliers.
