Access to the idler pulley was accomplished by lifting the top deck, removal of the door and front panel. Next I released the drive belt from the idler pulley. Then removed the tension spring with needle nose pliers and the cap screw holding the idler pulley assembly. Re-assemble in reverse order with the new idler pulley. Very simple. About a 25 minute repair. Tip: several examples of this repair can be found on YouTube.
Note: Only the idler pulley was used for this repair. I ordered the drum support rollers and tri-ring to have on hand.
