As the dishwasher was now seven years old I thought I’d look at replacing it with a new one.
A new one was running $1000 and due to Covid no one even had them.
I did like this particular model so I bought a new drain motor and while I was at it the drain filter. They arrived the next day and the repair honestly took at most a half hour.
Cleaned out some debris, installed the new parts and the dishwasher was working just like new. Definitely try to fix your appliance before you replace it! Saved $900
