This is the second time my dryer quit heating. My wife said she had put a larger item in the dryer and was surprised by the quantity of lint that was in the trap after drying this seldom used blanket. Next load no more heat. I was able to replace the thermal limit fuse through a vent knockout on the back of the dryer without taking it all apart as is shown in the videos (that's what I did the first time I replaced this item). Works fine again. The first time I replaced the hi limit I thoroughly cleaned the dryer inside - found lots of lint in the components so if I was doing it again for the first time I would do it by opening up the cabinet again as is shown in the self-help video.
