Went to Appliance Parts Pros.com and researched what was happening. After reviewing the comments, I determined that the probable cause was a faulty start device on the refrigerator compressor. I decided to purchase the start device combination. The service was excellent. In a day and a half, I received the part. I unplugged the old part and installed the new part. When I plugged the refrigerator into the electric socket, it started up as if nothing had been wrong. Who would have thought it would be so easy to repair a nightmare? Thanks Appliance Parts Pros!!!
