My son smelled an electrical burning smell coming from our upright freezer. Checked, and found a module attached to the compressor, had started to melt, and compressor would not start. (Later found out it was called the start module, or relay. Disconnected the module, moved all the stuff to a neighbors freezer who had room, and "Googled" the part number from the factory relay. Found the Start module for like $12.95, ordered it, and used the original Capacitor from the factory relay (just plugs in w/ spade connectors, and now the freezer is running again. I think most people would have just taken it to the dump, and then went out and spend huge money, to buy a new one. Not me, up and running for $12.95, and no service call required. Thanks
