Ok...so Thanksgiving dinner was on the line. A few seconds after pulling the turkey out of the oven, the temp ran away and shot to 600 degrees. Thank goodness all of the food was done. The oven shut down after I saw sparke falling out of the vent below the control panel and smoke comming out. I found out later that is was a transistor on the circut board burning and those were ashes...not sparks burning. 15 min on line and the part was ordered. It shipped the next day and I had it by saturday morning. One screw driver and one nut driver and 30 minutes of my time had my oven working like brand new.
