I removed two Phillips screws and un plugged the ice make from the electrical connection. Removed the ice maker by pulling towards the fron of the refrigerator. Took the cracked ice tray out, put the new one in. Re-installed the unit back in the the freezer and wha -la it works. This is the second Samsung refrigerator I have replaced the ice tray in
