After reading many stories about stuffing foam around the drum, I too decided to stuff batting around the drum hoping that would solve the constant dc error code. That did not work for me. Not even once. I read more stories about how buying the below was an instant fix. It was! I bought four. Installed them pretty easily. Two people really makes the process easier. I haven't had a problem since. I've done multiple loads on different settings and it works like brand new again. Not that the washer was ever a good one. Junk.
