Our dishwasher door could only be fully closed (latched) or all of the way open - nothing in between. After pulling the dishwasher out, I found that the plastic Hinge Arm Link between the cable and door frame had broken off on one side. I ordered two of these as I wanted to replace both of them. Takes a little bit of work to get it into the hook on the cable (two pairs of pliers) but I got them replaced and now the door works fine. No more opening the door and having it slam all of the way down. The video was a great help.
