Removed dishwasher and discovered that there was a tear in the drain hose assembly near the strain relief device. I also noticed that the replacement hose had a black drain line that connected to the water inlet system of the appliance. The older hose system did not have that component for some reason. I also noted that I needed to increase the size of the nipple on the water inlet system to fit the black tubing that came with this replacement system. After I applied a significant amount of teflon tape to expand this low-pressure nipple, I was able to affix the black drain hose with out any issues. The system works fine now.
