Last Saturday morning, I went to take the dishes out of the dishwasher and found that sometime during the night it had stopped working. There was water in the bottom, and the dishwasher detergent holder was empty, so I knew it had stopped during a cycle. At the time, I thought we must have lost power during the night, so I pressed the button to restart it. Nothing - no power. I tried several more times and concluded that it had died (it was over 15 years old) and that I needed to replace it. Unfortunately, because of the way the previous DW was put under the counter (with the lip of tiles blocking its removal), I would need to take off the tiles to do so. I had done this once before when I put this DW in new, and it was a project I wasn’t looking forward to. So I put it off. By Monday afternoon, every dish, bowl, cup, and glass was dirty, so I had to do something. I started looking online for new DW’s and after seeing the cost and remembering the work it would take to replace the old one, I Googled the problem. As can be expected, many possibilities were put forth but, because I'm a DIY'er, I decided to try the one saying it could be the Thermal fuse since the price was low and if it didn't work, I was only out a minimum amount. I then went online to find the part and one of the first companies I found was AppliancePartsPros.com. I had never heard of them, but the price was low and they could get it to me within two days. But what really convinced me to order from them was the video they had online that showed me step-by-step how to put it in. I live in California, so when I placed my order at 3:30 in the afternoon on that day, I didn’t expect receiving it until Thursday since it needed to be ordered before 5pm Eastern (2pm Pacific time). To my surprise, I received an email from them shortly that my part had shipped. I received it on Wednesday early afternoon. It took me about an hour following the video (I always play them on my laptop at the site so I can pause each step along the way), but when I pressed the button everything was back to normal. I must say, over the years I have ordered many parts to fix various things around the house and I have never had such a positive experience. Usually, a promise to arrive in two days works out to three or four or tends to be expensive but AppliancePartsPros exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend your company to anyone needing appliance parts and you can bet I’ll be coming to your site first thing when I need something. Thank you for exceeding your promise!
