The module control Assembly fixed the problem. Dishwasher now runs normally. First remove screws that hold the inner and outer door together.
I took a photo of the old part before disconnecting cables. Removing the old module took me awhile because I had trouble locating the screw on the side of the door (because I closed the door for easy removal of the cables). I reconnected everything, put the door back together, closed and latched it and when I turned the power back on it went through it's calibration.
I would recommend this if you are having issues with the dishwasher not starting or stopping during the cycle.
