First I determined the location of the problem. Then by using handy guides on The AppliancePartsPros.com I identified my Dishwasher by imputing the model number. I watched the repair video that was available which was a real handy guide. There were a few variations on my appliance that differed from the video but common sense got me around them. The video indicated that the fasteners on the door were Phillips screws. They are actually Star Drive Screws. Make sure you have the correct bits for your project. (I do) . To determine I ordered the correct part I opened the door panel and found the broken part. I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros using their system for determining I had the correct part for my appliance. As promised the part was delivered within 2 days. Using the information from the repair video and my own common sense I replaced the broken part in less than 15 minutes. I believe it works better now than it did when it was new.
