If your front loader stinks of mold, the drain hose is likely the problem. I replaced mine in about 30 minutes. While I had the hood up, I also replaced the tub-to-pump hose for good measure. I also removed and cleaned the upper fill and vent hoses. My washer is a 2012 model. I recommend this fix. I also highly recommend AppliancePartsPros.com.
