Contacted my go-to Appliance Parts Pros to see what potential problems or complications might be with a repair. As usual, AP was very helpful. Couple of things to look out for- 1- make sure you have a bucket and some old towels or rags close by 2- not guaranteed that both hoses will have compression clamps, one of my hoses had a pinch clamp, I removed and was able to rework for project, but suggest you check you might want to pick up a clamp at hardware store 3- when taking hoses off, there may be a very foul smell from old water and other debris caught in the pump, not good for those with weak stomach...:-)...all done and cleaned up in 30 minutes. Don't forget to turn the water back on..:-)
