I thought it was just the drum bearing slides because stories on line suggested that this was the cause of the squeak. However, please be warned, it is clear that the squeaking was because the slides were gone and the drum support bearing had been worn away in places. So, when I disassembled the dryer case, I discovered that the slides were gone and the support bearing needed to be replaced. I ordered the support bearing. It came with one of the felt inserts missing (luckily there was a card in the box that warned me to check for the two felt inserts). Customer service immediately shipped a new bearing. When that came, it was a simple repair (watch the video). All you need is a couple screw drivers and about 20 minutes. It was very simple.
