I found a video online that showed how to take the dryer apart to replace the motor. The replacement motor I received from AppliancePartsPros fit perfectly and once I put the dryer back together, it started at once and worked perfectly. I did take the opportunity while the dryer was apart to replace the belt and the drum wheels and vacuum out the interior. It may seem daunting to take the entire dryer apart, but it turned out to be a rather simple process and saved me the expense of having to pay a service charge from a repair company.
