John I Stafford Township , NJ October 04, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer LDG9806AAE Maytag Dryer Ldg9806aae: Did not dry clothes, igniter would glow, flame would burn for five minutes then go out & not light again. Igniter would glow but no flame. How to replace Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit. I replaced flame sensor & gas valve coils as per APP.com and problem was solved. only had to remove front of dryer & everything was accessible. total repair took maybe 35-40 minutes.
