At first I used white duck tape to tape it up. That worked well and so the handle with the tape stayed for sever months (maybe a couple of years - but it was a long time). Then we decided to sell our home and during the inspection, the inspector said the handle had to be fixed. Huh? How? The dryer is 17 years old!
So, of course, I got out my Owner's Manual (yes, I still had it). Went to the Internet, searched for GE Dryer Parts and AppliancdPartsPros.com turned up. I put in my part number and much to my amazement, the replacement handle was still available. And at a very reasonable price.
The short video was very helpful in showing me how to put the handle back on. Unbelievable!
Within a short while the new part arrived, I put it on without any trouble at all and now the home inspector is satisfied. Whew!
Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com you saved the day. I'll be sure to visit again if I need other parts for other appliances.
