I checked all the sensors according to the video. I discovered the heating element had a break in it. I did not disassemble the dryer to the level the video showed. Just removed the bottom front panel. Leaving the sensors on the tube I removed the tube the heat element sits in and removed the element. I ordered a new one. The process was so simple. The hard par is I live in a rural town in Nevada. The parts were sent FedEx. FedEx is stupid slow. The part left its originating point and went to North Salt Lake city UT. Where it sat for twenty four hours. Then it finally made its way to Salt Lake City UT. About twenty miles. Where it sat for two more days. Then it made its way to my little home town. When it finally arrived in my home town it was transferred to the US Postal Service where it sat for twenty four hours. But, because we have no postal service sorting facility. it went back to Salt Lake for sorting. Twenty four hours later it was back in my home town where it sat until Monday delivery, another two days. It does not matter how items are shipped. This is the way FedEx does it. Overnight delivery is about four days. Standard delivery is about six.
When I finally got my part I slid it in, hooked up the vent, plugged it in and finally did a load of laundry. The price was reasonable the tutorial excellent. The people friendly. I just wish they would use any shipper other than FedEx.
