I have a Maytag Dryer Model MEDX700XL0. This video here showed me how to remove the front bottom cover and the duct-lint to access all the fuses and Heating Element: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4QDY62PaZw
Unplugged the dryer before I did anything.
Took a multi-meter and did a continuity test on the following items:
Thermal Fuse
Thermistor
The pieces that come in the High limit thermostat and thermal fuse kit.
The Dryer Heating element.
The Dryer Heating Element was the only one that failed.
Ordered the new heating element,
To install you have to remove the wires from the thermal fuse, high limit thermostat, and Dryer Heating Element on the heater box and then remove the heater box. There is a heater box bracket to remove and then it takes a little wiggling but the heater box comes out pretty easily.
Take 1 screw that attaches the heating element to the heater box and push/slide/pull the bad Dryer Heating Element out. Wear some gloves to do that.
Put everything back together, plugged it in and everything worked.
