I disassembled my dryer after watching the video and found my front bearing slides completely worn off and the bearing support was damaged. I also noticed the trap duct assembly was broken around the bottom edge of the door opening, the lint filter frame was broken and the light wasn't working. This dryer had seen heavy use for over 15 years and I was planning on hauling it to the dump and buying a new one but after watching the appliancepartspro.com video and finding the parts I needed for repair I decided to repair it. A new comparable dryer was going to cost $500. I fixed mine to like new condition for $160. The parts were easy to replace. The only thing that doesn't work is the interior light. I replaced the bulb but I'd say the door switch is probably bad. The light has been out so long I don't think my wife even realizes it ever had one so I'm not really concerned about it. Thanks for the videos appliancepartspro.com. I don't think I would have attempted this repair without your excellent videos.
