The drum upper bearing pads were worn and missing, the upper plastic support bracket was worn and the blower wheel was loose and rubbing on the front steel housing. I replaced all of the above but I should have replaced the drive belt while I had the machine apart.One good thing about taking the dryer apart was removing all the lint that had built up inside the machine and the exhaust hose. The amount of lint was amazing. I can see how there are dryer fires.
