I had a home warranty that was suppose to cover this. They didnt/couldnt get the job done. After a great deal of trouble shooting I ordered the motor blower assembly. Not a cheap part but fixed the problem. Silence is priceless. Im a 66 year old retired female. Yes you can do this.
