My dryer was operating well but it was making a loud noise like something was lose tumbling and turning inside it. At first I thought it was coins or debris. I even started thinking a rodent or a cat had crawl inside the exhaust vent from outside to stay out of the cold. I saw videos on how to take it apart and I also googled what causes noises on dryers when they operate well but very noisy. I found out it was the tumbler wheels needed to be replaced. I contacted handy mans and they wanted to charge me just to come check it out. The least expensive one would charge me $45 just to come in for a diagnostic. after watching the video several times I felt confident and I took dryer apart. I turned the tumbler wheels and indeed they were making a noise from worn out bearings. I ordered the wheels and they arrived at my job address, my coworkers were asking me what those wheels were for. When they found out i was going to repair my own appliance they doubted me. After watching the installation videos I did everything step by step. My Dryer is a Whirlpool and I started watching videos of others makes and saw that my luck WHIRLPOOL was the easiest one to work on! The other manufacturers had many more parts to take and disassemble that if I did not had a Whirlpool I might had paid the handyman instead. APPLIANCEPROS Parts was also great on showing pictures and seeing videos of installation! I AM HAPPY! My dryer now is quiet and operating like new again! Jairo A.- Albuquerque New Mexico
