Replaced control board and dryer works like brand new. The repair was relatively easy however I would warn anyone who undertakes this repair to pay particular attention to a couple of items.
1) Once you remove the face plate from the dryer, take it someplace with plenty of working space to dissassemble the control board from the dryer's face plate. The LED lens's and the control buttons and springs can fall out all over the floor if you're not careful. One misstep and you will be waiting for another order for whatever additional part you stepped on and crushed. Much better to do it sitting at the table or other appropriate location.
2) Pay attention to the dial and shaft. These items are "keyed" to align a certain way. By making sure everything is aligned correctly will make the re-assembly much easier and smoother!
