David B Gaithersburg , MD June 03, 2020 Dryer squealing on startup. Replaced the WHIRLPOOL Drum Support Roller. Needed snap ring pliers and some patience to get the dryer drum belt back on but it was easy enough. If you are reading this you probably know or at least have a good idea what's wrong. From this point on it's at most 3 more hours of work/research total even for someone who knew nothing about dryer repair. Actual repair took me (a total newbie) just over an hour.
