The dryer showed power because the front panel lit up when the Control On button was pressed. However, when the Start button was pressed the dryer made a clicking sound but did not start. At first I thought it was probably a defective control panel which I was not willing to fix. However, I decided to remove the Thermal fuse and checked it for continuity and found it to be open. I ordered and installed the new fuse and everything is back to normal and working. Thanks to Appliance Parts Pros instructional video, this repair job was quite simple.
