First checked the filter in the bottom of dishwasher. It wasn’t plugged.
Then checked the drain lines to the airflow device and they were fine.
Decided to change out the pump at that time.
Watched a video on how to repair it. Made sure something I wanted to get myself into.
Ordered part (pump). However, my dishwasher was not like the one in the video underneath it.
Mine had a white plastic pan attached to catch any water leaked but it also greatly limits accessing the pump. It’s still doable but you’ll need small hands and lots of towels to soak up the water that will drain into the pan after you remove the pump.
BE SURE TO dry the entire pan from both sides of the dishwasher before putting it back into place or you will see an ER-15 code. Which will not let your dishwasher run.
Once this has been done and the insulation put back over the sides you can slide it back under the counter. Took me about 4 hours from start to finish cleaning up and check the drain lines.
Runs great so far. A $100 fix for pump, taxes, freight. Vs $1100.00 for a new one..
