I checked around on the internet and found the problem was related to a possible faulty drain pump. I checked with the video on Appliance PartsPro and discovered the pump installation wouldn't be difficult. Ordered the part. The part arrived damaged and I called AppliancePros and they immediately shipped a replacement which I received the day after calling. Following the directions on the video it took about 15 minutes to replace the pump and doing the next load of laundry. So far so good with no recurring problems after catching up on the backload. I certainly would recommend AppliannceParts for their helpful videos and great service.
