Fridge at a rental property I own developed a leak. Appeared to be coming from under the drip pan. Removal of the water filter assembly confirmed a cracked pan. I believe this was likely a common failure as the new (oem) part arrived about 50% thicker than the cracked pan I removed. Most difficult bit of changing the pan was removal of the fridge's water filter as the old push disconnects were very stubborn; once the filter assembly was removed changing the pan was a breeze.
