Replaced icemaker and also cleaned calcium deposits off the spigot at the top. Reviewed several youtube videos beforehand to get a clear idea of how to remove it. It wasn't difficult to remove the assembly containing the icemaker but you need to act quickly to minimize the time the refrigerator door is open. Once it is out, you close the door and can then take your time to remove the icemaker from the assembly and then install the new one. We found a thin surface layer of rust on the transformer at the bottom but it cleaned up nicely with a small wire brush. You can use masking tape to remove the rust once loosened by the brush. We took over two hours because it was our first time doing this, but am sure it would go more quickly if we have to do it again.
