Watched the Appliance Parts Pros videos on the springs and followed disassembly and repair instructions. The suspension spring repair video anticipated my problem PERFECTLY. Turns out the frame had rusted through where the spring hooked to it, so nothing to counterbalance the motor. The advice in the video was to hook it through another hole on the frame. I replaced all suspension springs (hope I don't need to open this thing up again any time soon lol), reassembled, and tested. It works like a charm! $30 with expedited shipping and an hour of work (machine's in a tight spot, not like in the video...) saved me $400-$500+ for a new machine which was completely unnecessary.
