The error code indicated an issue with the slider assembly so I checked the electrical connections at the console and then tilted the washer forward to inspect the slider. It was sticking on the spline but I also noticed grease everywhere and the slider was very hard to get off the gearcase shaft. I replaced the gearcase, slider and clutch and it is working great now. Washer gets constant use with 4 boys in the house so not surprised the gearcase eventually failed. Having an impact wrench and the spanner wrench definitely helped with the repair. Everything was stuck on due to the grease and grime mess the gearcase made. The repair video was very helpful and I consulted it all the way through. If you can find the service manual online it will be a great help also.
